Madison Polidoro is an artist and graduate from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, with a BFA in Sculpture. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Madison began working at the Pratt Fine Arts Metal Shop and interning at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. Coming to college as a sculptor, Madison centered her education around a skilled set of artistic fabricators, technicians, and engineers, with the goal of fabricating functional objects to the best of her ability. Madison now spends her time as a glass blower at Hot Sand in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and as a freelance artist. She developed a great sense of craftsmanship, and an eye for perfection, while maintaining an untamed creativity and unique style. Madison is an artist, maker, and builder, who is well versed in a wide array of materials, processes, and techniques. She is not afraid of hard work, and displays a true dedication and drive in her craft.
"When I feel like I am trapped in an unending loop, a monotonous recirculation of the same actions, thoughts, words, and biases; I am able to take control through my art. I am able to create my own ideal, uncanny, and fantastical world. Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with developing my own alternate world to bask in, and so long as I live I will continue to do so. Join me and watch it grow."
